Deep blue fading to almost-black at the base, like looking down into water you can't see the bottom of. The ridged texture catches light as you move around it, so it never quite sits still — this is a room-anchor piece, it holds a wall on its own. Warm as late afternoon. The translucent amber glass glows from inside when light hits it: marigold, honey, a little ember. Small enough for a shelf, bright enough to spot across the room. It holds light the way a window holds the last hour of sun.
